We celebrated our grand opening in November of 2005. Since that time, we have served nearly a thousand satisfied customers in and around Austin , Texas . We are proud to introduce our talented design, customer service and installation staff. Our designers offer complimentary in home consultations as part of our process. It is their role to help create and execute the best solution for your space by considering all related factors. They utilize a 3D design program which gives you a complete rendering of your space and possible design options.

Customer Service Representative

Dara Rehm – With a degree in Sociology from Sam Houston State University and years of experience helping folks choose functional furniture and storage solutions, Dara is a true customer service professional. She is likely the first person you’ll meet when visiting our showroom, and will introduce you to the many products on display as well as the multiple possibilities that the designers can offer. She’s also the person you’ll work with when scheduling the installation of your new More Space Place furniture solutions.

Designer

Christie Chisena – Born and raised in Texas, Christie holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from Arizona State University. Her experience contributes a unique ability to create a functional and aesthetic space saving solution for any part of the home. Christie enjoys the challenge of transforming existing spaces into preferred solutions through the art of design. You’ll appreciate her distinct eye for detail and practical approach when designing your space.

Joanna McDonald – After a successful career in the high-tech industry, Joanna opened More Space Place in Austin in November of 2005. Joanna’s vision to build a cusomer focused organization has come to life in More Space Place . Joanna enjoys the daily interactions with customers, working with them to find creative solutions to their space problems. “I am thrilled to bring More Space Places’ innovative product line to Central Texas . We are revolutionizing the way people use their space. With eight different murphy bed models, our extensive home office line and comprehensive closet offering, there is truly something for everyone. Our customers include families in the suburbs, empty nesters, downtown condo & loft dwellers, retirees, single professionals and downsizers. It’s very rewarding to work with these customers using our products and design and installation services to make their transition to a new home and/or new lifestyle just a little easier.”
